Children tend to come home from school absolutely famished. It is too late for lunch, and definitely not the time for dinner. In that case one needs to have some snacks in place. One such evening snack is the ever-popular samosa recipe. This is a triangular stuffed snack and can be stored raw in the refrigerator for almost a week. All one needs to do is remove them and deep fry them. Given here is the recipe:
The ingredients -
4 potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
¼ cup boiled green peas
¼ teaspoon mango powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
Salt to taste
3-½ cups of maida
Oil
Mix the mashed potatoes and peas together and then add all the spice powders, mixing it all together properly. Then make dough out of the maida. Then take small lumps of the dough and roll out in flat circles. Then fold it into a conical shape and fill with some of the potato blend. Close the corners with some water so that they stick together. After making all the such filled conicals from the dough heat the oil and deep fry them. Remove from oil when crispy brown. Serve with ketchup or chutney
